“Ernst Fuchs Museum robbed again?”

Vienna. In 2023, a valuable work of art disappeared from the Ernst Fuchs Museum. Now the historic villa is once again the scene of a spectacular heist – this time staged, with the visitors themselves as the culprits.

In June 2023, the valuable painting “Hinter dem Schweißtuch der Veronika” was stolen from the museum. Now the spectacular crime story of the former Otto Wagner Villa gets a surprising sequel:

On 13 November 2026 at 17:00, the exclusive experience “Diamond Heist” premieres at the Ernst Fuchs Museum. Instead of sitting passively in the audience, twelve participants in teams of four become the leading players in a script written especially for them. Together with actors, they break into the villa – with the aim of stealing a precious diamond.

After 2023, I would never have thought that I would one day invite burglars into my own house. But this time, everything stays in its place at the end.
Anna Maria Fuchs, heir of Ernst Fuchs and today’s owner of the villa

The production comes from the Viennese company Secret Mission, known for immersive live experiences such as the multi-part agent mission NOVEX-3, in which participants are guided through Vienna’s city centre, solve puzzles and interact directly with actors. With “Diamond Heist”, Secret Mission develops this concept into an exclusive, individually staged art-heist experience.

The premiere is exclusively limited to twelve tickets. Further dates are open.

Tickets for the premiere are available from €249.90 per person at secretmission.at/en/diamantenraub.
